Here’s our feedback form  looking forward to hearing what you think! monday AI columns feedback

Hello Shai,

Being able to use the Numbers column to fill in AI automations would be vastly beneficial.

It would basically make the upcoming formulas in automations feature obsolete.

Hi Shai,
I totally agree with @shayan.moussawi. Being able to fill in a numbers column would be a game changer.

Thanks for the feedback! this is really helpful.
Can you give an example of how you would use it?

Thanks for the feedback @Sjurd!
What would this help you with? would be happy to get an example

Sure!

Basically lets say we have a numbers column for our Deal value.

Then I would maybe want to calculate the forecasted deal value via an AI automatuon:

Telling the AI: Calculate the projected deal value based on these parameters: (then include other columns such as industry, company size etc.) and weigh these parameters accordingly.
Also telling it to return a number for it.

There are plenty of other use cases though. Basically it would allow to make all complex calculations you need stored on your board backend (unlike traditional formula columns which are just ‚displayed‘ but not actually stored on the board).

Sure!

I’m mainly thinking about the last point @shayan.moussawi made, where the calculated number is stored in a numbers column, and not just displayed in a formula column. This could then trigger automations that is based on a numbers column value.
