REQUIRED FEATURE: Option to Treat Formula Column As Number

This would solve many problems at once.

Here’s one use case among many:

I want to use the automation (when number changes, notify someone) but that only works with a manually entered number. What good is that? If I manually change the number I don’t need to be updated!

If others have use cases, please add them to this discussion.

This is a long standing request and I would suggest not holding your breath for it to be fulfilled because the way formula columns work, is the values are calculated in your browser window - no value is stored on the server which means they are unavailable for automations.
