Creating a sub-item based on a status update on the item. Want the sub-item to also have an update with a checklist of items that need to be completed. if I use the “create update” option on the automation, it puts the update on the main items and not the sub-item. Is there a way around this or an integration that I can use? Checked out four already and none of them had this feature.
You can do it with workflows. Basically, you’ll tell it that ‘when status changes, create a subitem’ and then ‘update the subitem’. Make sure you add a step of ‘Get item data’ and choose the subitem you just created (this will allow you in step 4 to choose the subitem to update’

Thanks for the info. It looks like I have to have an Enterprise Plan for this and I have Pro. Will need to decide the best way forward.
