Items Dated Last Day of Month + Time Don't Show on Drilldown

I’m having an issue with the drilldown of a stacked bar chart that uses a date field for the x-axis. Also grouping by Month and stacking by a status field. Y-axis doesn’t seem to matter since I’ve tried both Count and a numbers column.

So, on the chart when I click a status, it seems the drilldown won’t show items with a date value that is the last day of a month AND includes a time.

In the screenshots below, the chart shows 2 items with a Done status. Both items have a date of Mar 31, but one also includes a time.

The drill down should show two items, but only shows one. If I remove the time value from the missing item, then the drilldown will show it. If I keep the time on the missing item but change the date to Mar 30 then the drilldown will show it. Is there something I’m missing or is this a bug?

The actual board I’m experiencing this issue on has 1k+ items and I’d rather not make adjustments like removing the time or creating a second column for just the date if I can avoid it.

Hi Ben,

I was able to replicate this behavior and I do think it is a bug with Monday. For example, if I change the time to 12:00 AM then it will show in the drill down. But if I change it to 12:01 AM then it will not.

Unfortunately, I could not find a work around that would not involve doing the things you mentioned in your post. There could possibly be a way to do the updates in a more automated way like a bulk update, but would depend on the data.

Thanks for the reply and for checking my work @jdbird . I don’t want to lose the time values, so I’ll likely create a new column that I can populate with just date.
