Planning to implement the tracket app for time sheets. Also want to accumulate hours spent on specific tasks, but don’t want to make users enter time in two places. Ideally, would want the entry in tracket to automatically link to the task in the project board to have a running count of actual hours spent so it can ultimately be compared to estimated time.
hi @ppatelmmt
Welcome to the community! I don’t know about the Tracket app, but the app “Timesheet Pro” for Work Perfect does put the overall time for a task back to the monday board. Maybe worth investigating that one.
Thanks Bas,
Looked into timesheet pro a little but doesn’t quite have other features I needed. Basically, replacing quickbooks tsheets so I am hoping to get something that allows employees to sbmit time cards for approval. However, I am then also looking to get those hours pulled back into a project board in monday.
Hi @ppatelmmt
Welcome to the community!
Also, as a kinda workaround, you can try out Time in Status app which helps to track time the Item has spent in each workflow status.
You’ll get user-friendly data on the board in a few seconds.
With our app you can easily manage Work Calendars to track just the time it takes during business hours
Also you will be able to track how much time your issue spends in each status and much more by generating:
And use charts to visualize your reports a sample of a certain number according to time range/item range, or a single item:
- Pie Charts
- Bar Charts
- Area Charts
The app is also available in the format of board integration.
Start the 14-days free trial to try it out for yourself and share your experience with us.
Hope you find this app helpful,
