As an enthusiastic user of Monday.com, I want to thank you for creating such a flexible and powerful platform. My team and I rely on Monday to manage our operations, track onboarding, and coordinate projects across departments.
One challenge we continue to encounter is the lack of a native integration between Monday.com and Paylocity, which is the HR and payroll system we use for employee management, benefits administration, time tracking, and onboarding.
Why this matters:
We currently manage employee onboarding workflows, status changes, and task assignments in Monday.com. At the same time, we rely on Paylocity to house critical employee data and HR functions. Because the two systems don’t communicate natively, we’re forced to duplicate data entry, manually update records, and risk version control issues, which ultimately slows us down and increases administrative burden.
Suggested Use Cases for Integration:
- Onboarding Automation: Trigger Monday board updates when a new hire is added in Paylocity (or vice versa)
- Status Syncing: Automatically update employee status (active, terminated, on leave) in Monday based on Paylocity records
- Directory Management: Sync basic employee fields (name, title, department, supervisor) between platforms
- Time-Off Visibility: Display approved time-off data from Paylocity on a Monday calendar or dashboard
- Payroll Cutoff Alerts: Automate reminders and workflows tied to payroll deadlines
Benefits for Monday.com Users:
- Save time by reducing manual data entry
- Improve accuracy of HR-related workflows
- Enable more robust employee lifecycle management within Monday
- Support small and mid-sized businesses who rely on Paylocity + Monday as core platforms
I believe a bi-directional integration—or even just basic webhook or API-based sync templates—would deliver tremendous value to users like us.
