I have a requirement where I would like to create a single task and then assign multiple parties to that task. The task could be as simple as providing feedback on a document. However I would like to be able to track each specific individual to determine who has completed said task. A simple checkbox would do

Have you thought about using a subitem on the task for each person? Then they could mark a status column as “done”, and you could mirror the status column up to the parent item in order to indicate how many people have marked their part as completed.
You could also use the checkbox in the updates section of an item. What do you think?
