Items are removed from My Work if there has not been any update to the item in 4 months. Our team sets due dates well in advance and sometimes those items don’t get worked on for months, so this creates a problem of potentially missing work if it’s no longer showing up in My Work.
The solution that the support team gave was to set an automation to create an update in the comments section periodically. Apparently an update like that is the only thing that will make the item show up in My work (aside from the date changing or a new person being assigned). We are talking about hundreds of items though, so hundreds of updates would be really disruptive.
Instead, we’d prefer to have the option for items not to disappear from My Work after 4 months, or for another change aside from an update to prompt the item to show up in My Work.
