When I opened my boards this morning, I noticed the new Timeline Picker doesn’t have the option to set the chosen date as a milestone anymore. How can I set a date as a milestone now for my Gantt charts?

It looks like the new Timeline Picker no longer includes the option to set a milestone directly. I can still see it on my account at the bottom.
However, you can still set a milestone in your Gantt chart by doing the following:
- Open your board and navigate to the item where you want to set a milestone.
- Go to the Timeline or Date column associated with your Gantt chart.
- Set the start and end date to be the same—this will automatically display the item as a milestone in the Gantt view.
- Check your Gantt chart to confirm that the milestone appears as a diamond icon.

Sorry not sure why my version of Monday.com is different, 
have you tried asking support?
Looks to be that the new timeline column simply does not support the “set as milestone” options
This is no longer working for me either. I am emailing support now.
Support got back to me. You have to go to the Settings for the Timeline column - Customize Timeline - and select Show “Set as Milestone” and it will give you the option on the date picker.
