Is there an option to receive a notification for any and all changes to a board, instead of having multiple automation for status changes, updats, item creations, etc?
Maybe I’ve overlooked it, but I can’t find it…

Yes you have it, that is what you’ll find through custom recipe. And the best part is that you dont have to write a single line of code for this.
The recipe will be like “When any column changes notify person”.
The problem is, I don’t have the option to make it ‘any’ column. I have to pick a specific one from the board. Which means I have to create multiple automation, which is a pain frankly…

The “when any column changes” trigger is NOT currently available for neither standard nor custom automations.
It IS via webhook integrations and the monday app framework. It would therefore be possible to create a custom function to do what you are asking for.
