Official communication release

Hello !

It is clear that the various updates are rolled out progressively to different customers.
However, there is a significant communication issue.
Most customers, myself included, notice the integration of new features without any official communication or announced deployment dates.

Is any improvement planned in this regard? Is any improvement planned in this regard?
In addition, this website is never up to date or is delayed by several weeks:

Yes, as someone who has some slight concerns about the development of this software, particularly over the past year, I have also noticed an appalling lack of communication.

Also, no more public roadmap - a very useful indicator to show the direction of software. Really disappointing.

Hello @Abricoo Hello

You’re not wrong at all and this is a really fair callout. The staggered rollout makes sense from a technical standpoint but from a customer experience perspective it often feels confusing and even a bit frustrating when features just appear without context or timing. Many of us end up discovering changes by accident rather than through clear communication.

Better visibility into what’s coming when even at a high level would go a long way. Something like clearer rollout windows feature flags in the account or more proactive in app notifications would help teams plan and avoid surprises.

You’re also right about the What’s New page. It’s a useful resource in theory but in practice it’s often behind what’s actually live which makes it hard to rely on. Keeping that page in sync or clearly labeling preview vs fully rolled out features would build a lot more trust.

Hopefully this is an area they continue to improve because the product itself moves fast and better communication would make that speed feel like a benefit rather than a guessing game.

Thanks for raising this. It’s been an ongoing pain point for me as an admin, and I’ve consistently heard the same concern from staff at all levels.

I have found this confusing as well. We would appreciate communication ahead of time (even if its being rolled out in beta) with notice of when it will be live in the platform (tomorrow, live now etc).

Whole heartedly agree. This has been an ongoing issue for us since we brought monday into our org as the official work management platform solution with an Enterprise license. We raise this routinely with our CSM and Premium Support.

I echo the specifics reported in this thread also. We can never be sure when any feature will be or is released to our account. We absolutely only identify new features released when we trip over them, accidentally discovering them. In general we support new features being released as there are a number of things we are anxiously awaiting. However, their release often causes a lot of extra work as it is a process of discovery by trial and error, and often requires much exploration to run down all of the downstream effects of these releases.

Clear communication to users as part of change control is a critical component of providing Enterprise level software. We very much hope monday will attend to this.
