Project 'Burn-rate" percentage column

Hi everyone!

Apologies if this has already been asked - more than happy for my thread to be moved elsewhere if its has.

I would be really grateful if someone could help me with a particular formula I am trying to create.

Within my board I have the following columns:

• Est. Hours. - (numbers column)
• Budget. - (formula column which calculates an hourly rate)
• Time Tracking
• Burn Rate

I am looking to create a formula in the last column ‘Burn Rate’ which returns a percentage of what has been accrued based on time tracked vs est. hours.
For example, if I have estimated that a task will take 1 hour and the team have tracked 30 minutes, I would like this fourth column to return 50% as the value.

I know this probably seems really simple but I have hit a dead end and now feel rather silly!

I have copied a screenshot of the columns in question.

Hi @HannahKnight - you can use the following formula to give you what you are looking for. You can adjust the ROUND parameter (set to 0) if you want to see decimal places where applicable.

ROUND(({Time used thus far#Hours}/{Est. Hours}) *100,0)

Then just format your formula column as a %:
