Provide % of total on Bar Charts

I have dashboard that tracks employee demographics over time. I am using a stacked bar chart with the months at the bottom and the stacking showing the selected demographic (gender, generation, etc). I want each colored segment to show % of total, not count but do want the count at the top of each bar. I was told that I can only get % of total if I use a pie chart. However, this does not allow me to easily compare month to month without creating multiple widgets for the same demographic. Please add the ability to display % of total in bar charts.
