This is what I’m trying to do:
When there’s a new update on an item via a conversation.
Populate a long text column in Monday.
Goal is to have the most recent update displayed in a column. However, I’m not able to pull any data from Updates into Zapier. Is this a limitation or has anyone done this?
Hi @cphu , this is a simple automation with zzBots. I built a bot in my workspace that will update the Long Text column with every new comment on that item. (Screenshot)

Depending on how many comments you make you could potentially use the free plan for this. You get 100 free Bot Power per month. This automation will cost 1 Bot Power per comment.
If you end up needing more automation, then this tool could become worth it to upgrade to.

Did you tried Make.com ?
You can trigger the Make.com scenario when an Update is created , and you can update the long text column in Monday.com .

You can do this easily with monday’s workflow builder, without need of Zapier
How would you do this using Monday workflows? And without third-party apps?
Are you using a different type of automation? I don’t have the same option. I’m on the Enterprise plan.
