We would like to see a feature that could really simplify testing for those of us building on the monday.com platform. Right now, there’s no fast, easy way to test apps across different scenarios like varying plan types (Basic, Pro, Enterprise) or different user seat counts within an instance. This means we spend a lot of time trying to simulate or set up these conditions ourselves, which can get pretty time-consuming and tricky to manage.
This is very true and tricky at the moment! I was hoping that when the 1-click app previews were added to the marketplace, that the underlying technology for those ephemeral monday accounts could be reused to allow quickly spinning up environments for testing (ideally via code/cli) so that it would be possible to write repeatable E2E tests for monday apps with say playwright/cypress
We would love to have a feature on the monday.complatform that simplifies testing for developers. Currently, there’s no quick way to test apps across different scenarios, such as varying plan types (Basic, Pro, Enterprise) or different user seat counts. Setting up these conditions manually is time-consuming and complex. Implementing this feature would significantly streamline our testing process and improve efficiency.
Hello,
Having a feature to easily test apps across various scenarios on the monday.com platform would be incredibly beneficial. It would save significant time and effort spent on manually simulating different plan types and user seat counts. This enhancement could streamline the testing process and improve overall efficiency for developers. Read More
