Re-Arranging Choices in Multi-Select Question in Workforms?

I have multiple-select questions in my form that when I go to edit the form, I see the list the way I want it (non-alphabetical) and I publish the changes, but the front end form that my users see just shows it in a random order. It’s not alphabetical, it seems to be listed in the order I created the choices.

I know that single-select choices can be changed via the column’s options, but that doesn’t work for multi-select.

Because the form has been in use for a few months, I cannot just remove the options and add them back in in the right order to start fresh.

So 2 questions.

  1. Why would the back-end show it working but the front-end doesn’t match?
  2. How do I get my list of choices in the right order?

Hey @SYNrtucker
I understand your concern. But the solution of the problem is to edit your form. Usually we create the board structure first and then create the form, which directly reflects all the fields to that form(so if you change anything in board it gets reflected on the form as well).
In your case, I am presuming as you created the form first and then the board structure, editing the form field(don’t delete and re create it, just edit it) will bring the options in your desired sequence.

In case you need any help setting it up let me know here and I’ll be happy to assist.

The issue might be caused by how the form saves the original order of choices. Try rearranging the options in the form’s backend settings or contact support for help with multi-select reordering.
