Search function for publicly shared boards

I like the possibility to share boards publicly.
We’d love to integrate their iframes into our members’ portal to offer access to all relevant partner details within our network.

The ONLY reason we are still not able to do so is the missing search functionality (search for text, tags, labels and so on). Of course you can do a classy browser search via “cmd+f” but this only shows search results within the displayed rows and columns. Data you’d need to scroll for is NOT INCLUDED.

Would be so great to add this feature to publicly shared boards.

it feels a bit odd to answer here almost a year later, but it might still be helpful for you or others, when stumbling across the same problem.

We recently released Board to Website Widget that probably fits your use case perfectly.

Simply take any board and transform it into a fully customizable widget, that can be either shared with a link or embedded into a website. You can adjust the look and feel and different options, such as enabling the Show search option to make your widget searchable by any content it holds.

Just give it a try, and I’ll be looking forward to hearing your feedback.

Hi Markus,
what happens to “Mirrored” items when you do this? Boards can already be embedded into websites - but you lose search functionality and mirrored columns are omitted. Does your App remedy this?

Yes, the app supports Mirror columns, and you can search for their values as well.
