Sending Notifications to mobile phone

I was wondering if anyone has managed to send notifications as texts to a mobile phone? That would be a GAME CHANGER for my team.

What exactly do you mean with ‘manage to send notifications by text’?
The only way I know how to trigger a notification in an action in an item (by mentioning or assigning for example)

I mean had anyone managed to find a way to use the API to get the notifications to send text messages to mobile phones.

There is a very nice SMS integration with Twilio, is that what you are looking for?
