Set an automation across an entire account

What is the update on this? I believe it’s still not possible to set an automation across an entire account and it looks like this is fairly old now.

Has this still not been implemented for 4 years? It’d be great to get this implemented to cut down on hours of time for people with many boards and workspaces. Just curious if there’s a timeline for completion on the Monday side?

Hi Juliette - is there a rough ETA on when this will be available? I have found several threads on the community asking for the same thing, going back SEVERAL years. I note that a release was done this month which has small changes that are not going to make anywhere near the same impact as this feature would (I don’t even use WorkForms). And you don’t actually give any forward view on future releases/development. Why are you not giving your customers what they are actually asking for??

Any updates to this feature or am I missing it? I have a lot of automations I am currently setting up in a template for future boards but I’d like them to be able to automatically deploy to currently open boards.

Checking for an update on this as well… It really takes most of my “Monday time” to have to replicate the automations from my Template throughout the other boards…

Also, same would apply to the Dashboard Filters. Everytime I add a new board to the Dashboard, it comes from scratch; I would like to see an option that I can turn Default into my filters to be applied to all new boards added.

Update: This feature is almost done being developed and we hope to be able to share it soon! Currently, with monday Workflows, you are able to edit and move items from different boards in the same workflow. In the next few months, monday workflows will also allow users to create automation with account-level triggers (e.g. “when a user joins the account”).

Hi everyone! I just spoke with the automation team, and they are in the final stages of developing two different features that will impact account wide automations. Here are the updates:

  • The “when user joined the account” trigger block will start being released in the next few weeks
  • The ability to set account level automations - Will be available with monday workflows.

What happened! You got so close to helping us out. We want this feature badly.

Currently, I have some automations that are on all of my boards across the enterprise. It would be super helpful to be able to manage these automations on the enterprise level rather than the board level.

So so close to a solution for this. Now we have to continue to set up and manage duplicated workflows for each team we roll out to, rather than one single workflow for the organisation. This is marked as “coming soon” so you may want to change that.
