We have an incident in one of the processes that we have integrated in Monday.
From Monday we manage all the health examinations of the employees and we have shared a view with each center manager (created a URL just for him) where he can see all the health examinations of the workers of the work center for which he is responsible.
The problem is that in this shared link, you can see, for milliseconds, all the information on the board. It is a problem because it is confidential data that appears and “screenshots” can be made.
Hi @Charlie92 - yes, this is a known issue with the “share view” feature, additionally the URL is not secured, so anyone with access to the link can view the data.
Depending on your licensing tier there are some options. If you are on Enterprise, you can utilize the item level permissions and setup each center manager as a guest and share the board (set the board as Shareable, not a shared view). This way each manager can only see what they are explicitly assigned to.
If you are not on Enterprise, the easiest way is to utilize a separate board for each manager with a “master board” containing all. Then utilizing make.com or 3rd party apps such as Vlookup Auto-Link to keep the data in check across the multiple boards. Then once again setup the managers as guests and share the boards to them.
Hope this helps, and feel free to reach out anytime.
