Currently, Work Docs added to the files column are not visible in the files gallery. I am surprised that this is not the case and would like to see this enhancement added to the roadmap.
I’d like to share a note from a good Word Doc friend of mine: “Work Docs are files too, we deserve to be seen with the other files in the gallery!”

@MarkP Absolutely - Workdocs look great (a notion.io feature in Monday is a great idea.
I’d like to use Workdocs to capture client meetings, but currently they are buried very deep to add them.
Add Columns > Files > Add > Workdoc
and they also don’t list in a View tab in Files Gallery on a board.
Bumping this thread up - because I have a solution. Our Advanced File Gallery aggregates not only files uploaded to the board, but also workdocs you add to the file columns on your board. What’s more, you can also categorize your files into collections and download them all with just one click.
If you give it a try, let me know! I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.
