I use the long text field to enter quick updates/info on items that I can see at a glance while looking at a workboard, without going into the conversation bubble for more detail. So I use the long text field often. I’m constantly hitting or <enter/return> thinking it will complete the entry and pop me out of the long text field. when it doesn’t work I have to click somewhere outside of the box to complete the entry. Inevitably I click on another field. Small inconvenience but this fix would make more intuitive for me. Hopefully I’m not the only one!
