The new calendar view is lacking key features

Hi all - There’s a new calendar view update rolling out, where it’s added like a widget (like in a dashboard) instead of the usual view.

I originally sent a note to support because I thought it was a bug, but got word back that this is going to be the new calendar view that eventually gets rolled out to everyone.

Is this optional or will it become default? It’s lacking some key features we use, like being able to see table items/tasks and drag them to the calendar, etc.

If so, what’s the reasoning behind the change? We could already add a calendar widget in a dashboard, so we aren’t gaining anything, but losing some key calendar view functionality that’s always been there :frowning:
