There is limit of 40 statuses in status field, can this be increased as I have 40+ options to select from

I use status field to select teams name to which a item belongs to, right now I have more than 40 teams and there is no way I can accommodate them.

The reason I use status field for selecting teams is

  1. It is visually easy to identify and select due to colours
  2. There are a lot many automations possible

It would be great if the limit is increased from 40 to any other possible limit.

This is a requirement for my using Monday. I have been trying to make it work and with the new GROUP BY, I need to add the clients as a status since it wont use any other column to sort by. PLEASE add more.

I also need this feature. We work via Kanban view and now one of my columns has reached the limit and we had to switch to a Dropdown but there is no option to group by a dropdown in Kanban, only status columns. We also can’t group by Dropdown in a table so I had to get an automation to copy the dropdown into a text column and sorted that way.

I would also love more Status options.

We use this as the “Date” Column and we end up not being able have all the old records do have duplicated status columns and having eg FY22/23 losing all the data from the main column.

I need to use a status field for US States to use in a status filter in a Workflow.

Please increase the limit here!
