If @monday-team we have the Work Schedule (Beta) can we please have an option to limit time tracking to the hours that each user is assigned via their schedule? this way if time tracking is not shutoff over night or the weekend we won’t have to manually edit so many entries?
This is critical to tracking billable hours. We attempted to run timers based on status changes but they continually run after working hours.
We figured out a way to stop them at the end of each day & restart them the next morning but can’t figure out how to get around weekends.
Hey Kristine, there are work arounds for this after having done some more investigating. It doesn’t appear to be possible to do it within monday.com however. It will likely require a 3rd party integration like make.com. With make.com you can set it up to change the status of all jobs automatically when at a certain time. What I would recommend is that you have your integration set up so that every day at 5pm all jobs that are currently at “X” status (the one that starts time tracking) be changed to “Y” status (the one that stops time tracking) at 5pm. daily. this way on Friday afternoon all jobs go stop time tracking and then the check will occur again Saturday and Sunday but since no jobs should have changed state it will just leave them as status “Y” and keep any time from being tracked.
