Timeline overlaps

I have a schedule board which includes a column with a timeline and another column with a staff member’s name.

Is there any way to have it alarm if I assign a staff member to a row with a timeline that overlaps another timeline to which they are assigned?

Sorry, I should clarify. The staff members’ names are in a Dropdown column, not a People column.
