I have set the automation to change the status to stuck if the deadline has passed. A project that was already underway has been entered into the system with previous dates and marked as done, so the system shows it has been done after the deadline.

The issue is that every night the system now changes these statuses to stuck when they have been marked as done. How do I stop this from occurring?

You can add an “And only if” statement for this use case that says and only if status is not done, so that the automation won’t run on those completed items.
To add this, click the “plus” button on the right hand side of the first line of the automation.
