When I change a date to a new date, a corresponding status
item should be changed from e.g. “done” into “not done”.

Use a custom automation…

Hello Jim, it seems like I cannot select “When DUE DATE” but only “When date arrives” and “When date has passed” in the automation center. Any idea? Thank you!
You have to use CUSTOM automations. Then select “When”, then “column changes”…
You should be good from there. If not, let me know.
