Tracking email volumes sent and received through Emails & Activities

I need to report to my clients on the number of interactions I have with customers. Emails and Activities creates a new item in the Activities board each time a phone call or meeting etc… has happened but it can not do this for email. Support have run through a few options but nothing seems to meet the requirements. I need information such as the account names etc… logging too - in exactly the same way as it does if i log a phone call

Mark, you should put something like “WARNING” at the beginning of this feature request. I noticed the same thing. I would be willing to bet that 90% of users think this already happens and are missing out on all of their emails when reporting their team’s activities.
