Trello import prep

We will need to bring Trello data into monday.com. I do not have access to Trello but I am trying to determine how it might import in.

I feel there will be prep required, and see that I can import from Trello directly or from excel. I feel I can wrap my head around excel, but can anyone tell me about the direct import? Is one better?

From my understanding usually the primary issue is where people’s data lies (i.e. Trello or Excel), but would love to hear what other people think in terms of preferences for import from one or the other.
