On the CRM product, the update section appears once you open the item’s card:
You can change what appears first when you click on the card button by setting the Updates view as board default:
Bubbles only appear on reagular boards, not CRM boards.

Which product(s) do you have? ie Work Management or CRM?
Bring back the bubbles with the numbers to the CRM!
