URGENT: On the quotes & invoice CRM, could we make the price bring values directly from formula columns?

Hi,

The new feature “quotes & invoices” on the price bucket space only brings values from numbers.

Could we make the price bring values directly from formula columns ? Currently, there is an “extra bucket” space but this one does not display the values coming from the formula.

Thank you,

That’s a great suggestion though! Have you put it on the feature suggestion board? Feature requests - monday Community Forum

Not yet Desiree, is there a way to repost this post into the feature requests?

Thank you,

Use a Mirror Column
If your formula column is pulling data from another board, try using a “mirror column” instead of a formula column.
Sometimes, mirrored values work better in automations and integrations.

I’m not sure, might need to copy/paste?

The price column does not pull values from either mirror nor formula values unfortunately.

Hi @Anasenses

If you’re looking to create PDF quotes or invoices from monday CRM, the DocExport PDF Generator app is a great option.

It supports formula and mirror columns, so it works well with different setups. A really handy feature is that you can automatically send the generated PDF via email to your clients using a custom email template.

Hi @Anasenses :waving_hand:

You can use the DocCreate app to automatically generate beautifully designed documents — including PDFs — based on information collected from monday.com form submissions.

By combining DocCreate with the built-in monday.com automation “When item is created”, you can fully automate the process from form entry to document generation.

:memo: Here’s how it works:

  1. A user submits a form on your monday board
  2. A document (like a PDF report, assessment, or proposal) is automatically generated using your custom template
  3. The PDF is saved directly to a file column on the item
  4. You can then mirror that file column across connected boards as needed — just like @Charlotte suggested!
