I was trying to use a hidden status as a button to send an item to another board. It wasn’t working unless the item was visible. Can this be changed?

Ivan here from the monday.com team! At the moment, when it comes to our automation recipes, it currently isn’t possible to set up a recipe and use a hidden column as the trigger for that recipe. A column with Restricted Column Views is unable to be used as an automation/ integration trigger.
I can understand where you’re coming from and I’ve already sent this feedback along to our Autopilot Team - I’m hopeful that this can become a possibility in the near future!
