It would be convenient to be able to manually change the “on track” status of a timeline column.
Connecting a timeline column to a status column can be convenient to easily monitor if the project is on track, especially when used in combination with the Overview Widget in dashboards.
When the status is set to “done” after the end time has passed, the task is obviously considered as being completed late. However people complete sometimes the task on time but set the status as “done” later. In such case it would be valuable to be able to manually label the task as being completed on time on the timeline (without changing the dates of the timeline itself), as this would allow to monitor the project as “on track”.
Another case use if related to projects we started before we begun to use Monday.com, but for which we are willing to monitor the full timeline (including past events that have been completed on time).
