I’m looking to set up an automation to archive subitems.
If we can automate this process, it’ll save us a ton of time and hassle. Plus, it’ll keep everything nice and organized.

This automation may work for you.
I know it says archive item, but I tested this and it only archived the subitem when the status changed, not the parent item. This is also assuming the status column is what triggers the sub-item to need to be archived, if this is not the case you can review the other triggers in the automation center.
This automation would need to be set up on each board since there is no way to create bulk automations across an account.
