I see there was a an automation to change an item status to something like Done if all sub items are marked Done. Is there a way to create an automation to do the opposite? If I mark the item Done, I want it to make the subitems Done.

We developed an app that solves this exact pain point of subitems inherting column value from parent. It’s called Subitem Automations and it allows to do this on subitem creation and when the parent item changes, here’s an example -
