Access Emails & Activities from within subitems

When creating sub items under deals as you are working on tasks from within that particular deal, it shows up in the My Work tab, which is great. If part of that subitem involves emailing someone and you want that email tracked and included as an update for that subitem and also the deal, you are unable to get there from the My Work tab OR send emails from the subitem updates screen. Adding the ability to send emails from sub items and associating those emails with the subitem AND it’s parent would be helpful.
