Add a Worcdoc as a board-view

Currently, workdocs are created either as their own board, or as a file in a file column. However, there is currently no option to create a workdoc as a board view.

We have weekly meetings to discuss each board. We currently use a OneNote page as a working document for those meetings to keep a summary of project statuses while also taking notes and writing down tasks to then enter into Monday.com.

This would be a great application for a Monday workdoc, however, we would have to either create more boards for those meetings, or add more tasks to the board to store those workdocs. Neither option feels appropriate as these documents are associated with an existing board (project) but not with a specific task.

It would be great if we could create workdocs as board views to keep those running notes. That would eliminate the need for new boards or “container” tasks.

It looks like it meets your use case. There is no editing capability in the view (it has a clean read-only view of the doc), but there is a link to the workdoc if you need to make an edit.

You can also add multiple workdoc views to a board. For instance, this means you can have one view for an SOP doc, and another for meeting notes.
