Current setup: we have a secondary board that tracks items and sorts them into Groups by This Week, This Month, or Upcoming. When new items are added, they are added to Upcoming (the farthest time range) by default.
Current issue: if a new item is created that is due in 26 days, it won’t be sorted by the 28 Days before [Date] automation because it wasn’t on the board at the time.
Current solution: create several automations to sort items at more frequent time intervals to catch new additions. This obviously creates a bigger load on Monday’s side.
Proposed solution: When new item is added, and only if today is 7-28 days before [date] move item to group.
