Can you set up an automation for items to move from one group to another on the same board based on the date? Specifically when the date changes based on quarterly.

Welcome to the community! There is an app called Date Controlled Groups to be found on the marketplace https://monday.com/marketplace/111. Not sure if that is what your are looking for. The app place items in specified groups when a date is within a specified range from today. So, you can have integrations like this:
