Today’s article will be about accessing the “Nonprofit - Event Management Template.”

What is the "Nonprofit - Event Management Template ?"

This is a solution for our monday for nonprofits users to help stay organized and on top of everything whilst planning the ultimate event using With this, you’ll be able to 1) oversee deadlines, prioritize your work, and easily keep track of changes, 2) avoid overspend and help your team host successful events all while staying within your budget, and 3) easily track event planning progress with high-level dashboards to help your team drive impact and organize events faster.

:rotating_light:NOTE: You will need admin controls to your account to access this template! Don’t have access to a monday admin account? You will need to request admin status from the admin on the monday account OR use the admin account to add this template!

Let’s get into it and talk through how to access this amazing template:

  1. You will begin by clicking THIS LINK which will take you to the installation page for the template.

  1. On this page, you’ll be asked where you would like this application to live (all workspaces or specific workspaces) and given the option to install the “Nonprofit Event Management template” into your app. Select the appropriate workspace and then click “Install”.

  2. You will be redirected to the “Installed Apps” section on monday where you will see the “Nonprofit - Event Management Template” now lives.

*Note: Having a hard time finding the template? Just click on your icon on, click “Administration”, then “Apps” and it should pop right on up!

  1. Now, it’s time to check out the template! On monday, you are going to go to your workspace, hit add, and then “Choose from templates.”

  1. You are now in the “Template center.” Here you can either type in the search bar “Nonprofit - Event Management Template” or scroll down to the “Nonprofit” category to find the “Nonprofit - Event Management” board. Click on this board icon.
  • Note: You may see another volunteer template in the template center when you search. You are MORE than welcome to use that one, as well, but this guide is specifically for the newer and more robust template seen below!

  1. You will click “Use Template” at the top right hand corner of the screen to start to download the template. Note: This download may take sometime- the board is ROBUST.

  2. Now, you’re in! At this time, you should have access the entire toolkit available which includes the event planning board, event hour by hour schedule, event RSVP process, personal expense tracking, feedback from attendees form, event dashboard, and the event management learning center. Feel free to play around and adjust this board however you see fit–this is now yours to navigate and work with!
