Assign team based on person?

I cannot figure this one out.

If a person is assigned to a people column… can this then assign their team in another people column?

Sort of, but not at a board level. Every one of our staff is assigned to a team, setup in the Monday settings.

I was hoping there would be an automation (almost like a mirror column), when a person is assigned, it would assign the team in another column (setup account wide).
