Currently, when using Monday.com’s New Email feature in the Monday CRM, users are required to manually input team members’ email addresses each time they wish to cc them, unless they are in the Contacts column. When I say team members, I am referring to Monday.com users accessing boards. While seemingly minor, this process becomes cumbersome when sending numerous emails, particularly in interactions with leads on our Leads board. The obvious solution is adding team members to the Contacts column, however, it results in unrelated emails cluttering the Emails & Activities timeline for that lead, causing confusion.
Our feature request is straightforward: we propose that the New Email window auto-suggests team member email addresses without being added to the Contacts column. This enhancement would streamline email correspondence, ensuring that the Emails and Activities timeline remains relevant to lead-related communications only. Ultimately, this improvement would significantly boost efficiency in managing email communications within Monday.com CRM, particularly for teams handling a high volume of emails and requiring frequent cc-ing of team members. Additionally, it’s worth noting that the proposed enhancement would benefit any form of communication beyond just lead interactions, as cc-ing team members is a common practice in various contexts. By extending auto-suggestion functionality to the New Email feature for all team communications, Monday.com users can enjoy increased efficiency and streamlined collaboration across all projects and tasks.
