Automate template when assigning a task by the (board creator), set that person as an Owner column of a board

I have a template that has an Owner column to designate who owns each given task. It’s typically going to be the person who created the board who will be assigned as the owner - and it’s typically that same person who creates the task. Is there a way to automate this via A TEMPLATE? When a task is created, add the board owner’s name as Owner?

I created the template from a board I used a lot and staff asked me to share. Now, however, since I created an automation transferred to that template, it puts my name in the owner field when their new task is created - I’d like a way to change this in the template.
