Hi Guys,
Is there a way to set up an automation that would export my entire board daily to somewhere? We use dropbox & onedrive although anything would work for us
Does anyone know as I cannot seem to find a way to do it?

Hi @johnners - while I do not believe there is a way to do this in stock monday. There is an app that gives you advanced back up options: Pro Backup
You could also create a simple make.com scenario to complete this for you.
Hope this helps,
Mark
@mark.anley Hey, We are looking at the trial of Pro Backup, however we do use make.com for some of our automations and webhooks etc.
I’m not sure how I’d export the entire monday.com system to excel using make.com though - I’ve had a google and watched some youtube vids but I can’t clearly see how to do it. Do you know of any templates or tutorials to do this or am I just overthinking it?
Hi @johnners - I thought initially there were only some select boards you wanted to export/backup not all the boards. If you had a specific list of boards, I would combine all the board IDs into its own board in monday then have make.com go through the list and pull all data into an excel file tab per board. If it needs to be more dynamic than that then make.com may not be the best option…

Hi @johnners ,
This idea might be a bit out of the box but it can reach your endgoal; did you consider implementing RPA (robotic process automation) to solve this use case? With rpa technology, you can make a recording of your screen where the bot can perform the same actions at any time (also automated in fixed frequency). For example, an RPA bot can learn from you how to manually export, for example, a project board to excel and upload the export into a dropbox folder and repeat this for you at desired times.
Hope this brings you new ideas, good luck in advance.
Not sure about automating it, but you can download your entire account data:
Hello @johnners ! If you have not found a solution, know that FluentPro Backup offers automated Monday.com backup and restoration of all data.
It runs backups continuously and saves project versions whenever changes are made. But you can also perform on-demand backups of all your data or just selected one. In case of data loss or accidental deletion, you can restore the specific data from the point-in-time backup version.
As for storage, FluentPro allows to store backups in their Default Azure Cloud Storage or switch to custom storage: Azure Storage or AWS S3 Storage.

Hi @johnners , this is Will, co-founder of Pro Backup. I’m keen to hear if you choose for Pro Backup in the end.
Last year in September, we published Pro Backup 2.0 which significantly improved the user experience, backup & restore capabilities.
We made a few videos for monday.com that showcase the new user interface:
