Automating dates

Hello!
I have been searching the topics, but I can’t find this posted. I might not be using the correct terminology either. For example, I have no idea what a “push date” is. I’ve heard of “push gifts” but I don’t think we’re talking about having a baby here! (I kid I kid!)

So here is my dilemma. I need to create an automation where one column is updated to indicate 365 days or 1 year after the first column. I have a form where “today’s date” is requested when the contract is signed, but then I need to track the end of the one year commitment.
The deadline function does not seem to have the correct options.

To summarize, I need to automate:
Column one —> Column two
today’s date (information inputted) → end of contract (365 days later)

Thanks!

It looks like I was able to solve this problem myself! In case anyone else is looking for the simple solution, this is what I did.

  1. Set an automation so that when an item is created the date is “today”
  2. Set an automation so that when an item the date is pushed by “365 days” Maybe I don’t need step #1?
Either way, I got the outcome I wanted!
