Hi everyone,
Im trying to create an automatic “push date” automation, based on the “start” date.
For example, item created ->set today as “start” date → set 1 week as “push date”.
For some reason, the automation doesn’t workI tried a few different workflows.
For example, when I set “Start” (date column) as “Feb 2”, I would expect the “Due” (date column) to show “Feb 09”.
You’ll need to Do ‘When an item is created’ then ‘set start to today’ then ‘set finish to today’ then ‘push finish…’. You’ll need to set the date before you can push it.
I’ve experienced the same problem last Thursday and Friday, and was connected to the support team for 2 hours on Friday while they tried to troubleshoot the issue. This is the last update I received over the weekend:
“This is a follow-up regarding your concern with your automation showing wrong details. Upon replicating this with our Specialist, we found out that same issue persists. Our Specialist suggest to try this to a new board first and if the issue persists, I will pass this to our Technical Support team for further investigation. Please let me know!”
I’m going to try a new board now and see what happens. I’ll let you know.
Duplicating the board, deleting automations and re-entering didn’t work; so I have to create the board from scratch. It took 2 hours, but it did fix the problem. Did you try @dmccarthy22710 solution? Technically that is the correct automation recipe.
