I have a board that uses a form to create new items. In that form there are some status fields that are used in automations to create new items/tasks in other boards. If a new item is created via the form those automations don’t create the new items but, if a new item is created from the table they do.
How can I get automations to work with new items created from a form?

When you create an item in the board and you first create it and then update the status, and that is what triggers your automation - the updating. When you submit a form with a given status your not updating an item with a status rather creating it. The solution seems to be adding an automation that creates items with the recipe:
