Description

I’d like to be able to both add an item and populate all columns (including mirrored columns) manually and through a mirrored automation tied to a form.

What are you trying to achieve

I’d like to be able to both add an item and populate all columns (including mirrored columns) manually and through a mirrored automation tied to a form. Currently when I select +add request, I can only name the item and fill in the columns that are native to that board alone. I can’t add anything to the columns that are mirrored and receive items through a form. This makes it difficult for the manual on off items. I’m left to just filling out the form for other users rather than just adding another item to my list.

I’ve encountered this too. One thing that helped was creating an automation that triggers whenever a new item is added manually, to update the mirrored columns. It’s not perfect, but it reduces the need to always go through the form for every new entry.
