Automate adding items to mirror column

It would be extremely helpful if the tasks in a mirror column could be added through automation rather than manual checkboxes. Right now, if I create a task on Project 1 board that is mirrored on Project Overview board, I have to manually add that task to the mirrored board by checking the box. This opens up the opportunity to miss new tasks. Ideally, you would be able to check “group of tasks” instead of an individual task.

This post is 2 years old and maybe this feature wasn’t there when it was asked for. But today, that issue is fixed by setting up default values for new items.

Fixed? How so? I do not see any new items getting added automatically in a mirror column.
